Lentil Soup

This recipe come from Kristin V.

Saute:
1 chopped onion
1T.(or more) cumin
cayenne pepper (to taste- or omit and serve with rooster sauce)

Add and bring to boil:
1 1/2 c. brown lentils
5 1/2 c. water (can season with chicken or veg bullion)

Add in and simmer until tender:
1 bag of spinach
2 c. cubed raw new potatoes
1 c. sliced carrots
